To
become acquainted with the charms and elusive qualities
of
Paris, there is no better way than to rent a central
Paris apartment.
An
apartment rental is an excellent choice for your Paris
vacation for several reasons:
More spacious than hotel rooms.
Cost savings (especially when travelling as a family
or small group) with all-inclusive prices. There are
no added taxes, tips, or surcharges.
The benefit of a kitchen, and often a washer/dryer.
The added flexibility of being able to eat-in and
enjoy the fresh produce from the local markets.
A more friendly, inviting and stimulating atmosphere
than hotels which tend to be very institutionalized/uniform
and
full of tourists!!
As my guests have repeatedly told me, the real advantage
to an apartment stay is the special feeling of belonging
to the local neighbourhood. Paris is made up of many
small quartiers or neighbourhoods, with
their own specific identity and local centres of activity
(outdoor markets and bakeries, cafes, bistro
restaurants, and local squares, Places and parks).
By staying in an apartment, you increase your interaction
with the local landscape and its inhabitants, providing
any visitor, ultimately, with a more enriching and
rewarding Parisian experience.
This
site details six apartments I have personally selected,
purchased and furnished. All apartments are centrally
located, with interesting and lively local markets
and other activities close by. All of Paris
major attractions are within easy reach by metro and
often on foot.
Finally,
I believe it is important to stress that these are
my apartments. This is not an agency or intermediary
site renting out scores of apartments owned or managed
by other people. As a result, my deposit/payment,
cancellation and security deposit policies are much
more advantageous to clients than essentially all
other rental agencies and sites. You are dealing directly
with the owner/manager, adding, I hope, a sense of
security to any potential guest, as my goal is to
ensure your holiday stay in Paris is as enjoyable
and exciting as you expect and deserve.
Bonnes
vacances!
