A lovely 1 bedroom apartment in a traditional Parisian building from 1832. The Louvre 1 bedroom apartment was renovated in 2005 and has been rented with much guest praise ever since.
The advantages to this apartment include:
- recent renovations and furnishings around 5 years old,
- renovated kitchen and bathroom,
- parquet wood floors with area rugs,
- recent and good quality double bed and sleeper sofa,
- a small outside terrace with table and chairs,
- a very functional floorplan (the sleeper sofa and bedroom are well separated from one another; independent access to bathroon from each).
The Louvre 1 bedroom apartment, with a double bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa bed for two in the living area, can easily accommodate up to 4 guests. There is a separate good-sized kitchen/dining area, with a compete and new kitchen unit (stove top, microwave, small dishwasher, toaster, small fridge, and ample cabinets and counter space), a dining table with 4 chairs and a built in shelving unit with many books.
The living area is accessed through double French doors, and this room includes the sleeper sofa 2 armchairs, a large wooden coffee table, the fireplace, bookshelves with books on France/Paris and flat screen cable TV with DVD player (accepts US and French DVDs)and a DVD player.
This is a 6th (European) floor apartment, with a small elevator in the building (elevator holds 2 persons at a time). The apartment living area looks out onto the street and the bedroom is courtyard side. This is a quiet apartment. There is a small outside terrace, off the living area, that looks out towards the west of Paris (terrace has a small table and 2 chairs so you can sit out and enjoy the views).
Total surface size is 41 m (approx 485 sq. feet). Perfect for 2 or 3 persons, and can easily sleep up to 4. This apartment includes cable television and also internet access. For an additional 25 Euros flat fee, you also have the possibility to make UNLIMITED outgoing telephone calls during your entire stay, to any fixed telephone (not to cell or portable phones) anywhere in France, Europe, USA and Canada. If you do not take this option, you can still receive all incoming calls and make outgoing local calls within Paris.
The closest metro stations are Les Halles (direct access to major airports as well as to Disneyland) and Louvre-Rivoli station (direct access to Champs Elysees, Concorde, Marais area). An extremely central location, within walking distance of all major central Paris attractions.
Area
Excellent central location, just minutes from the Louvre Museum, Seine River and the Ile de la Cite Island. A three minute walk from our Les Halles 1 bedroom apartment, and less than 5 minute walk to our Place des Victoires and Louvre 2 bedroom apartments.
The famous rue Montorgueil pedestrain street with lots of cafes, restaurants and food shops is just around the corner.
From this apartment you can walk not only to the Louvre, but also to Palais Royal, Opera, City Hall, the Marais, the Seine River and the Islands. The Left Bank is within easy walking distance as well (15 minutes on foot) -- in other words, all of historic central Paris is easily accessed on foot from this apartment.

MINIMUM STAY OF 4 NIGHTS REQUIRED. There is a flat cleaning fee of 60 Euros for all stays of just 4 nights.
For stays of 5 nights or more there is no cleaning fee, only the nightly fee quoted above.
Linens and towels are provided.
No security deposit is required for breakage. You pay only above nighty rates for your stay.
