This elegant and functional apartment is located two minutes from the Place d'Italie metro stop in the 13th Arrondissement. In 10 minutes on foot you can reach the Latin Quarter (the 5th Arrondissement)and has direct access by metro to the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, the Opera and the Seine River/islands.
This apartment is in a stylish typical 19th century Parisian apartment building, and offers high standards of comfort in a convenient and quiet central historic district, for a reasonable nightly rate per person.
The Place d'Italie 2 Bedroom apartment is situated
on the European third floor (three flights of steps). No elevator; however, we do meet you upon your arrival and help to bring your luggage into the apartment.
The apartment faces both the street and courtyard;
the street is small and tree-lined, with little traffic and no noise problem. This apartment is quiet.
The
apartment, at 64 square meters (approx. 690 sq. feet),
is more spacious than all of my other apartments, so is well suited for 4 to 7 persons wanting a comfortable living space for their stay.
The apartment has traditional wooden floors and area rugs, three marble fireplaces, ceiling crown molding woodwork. The lay-out is quite functional, as the entry hallway leads to all the various rooms, thus all bedrooms and living room have independent and direct access to the bathroom, toilet room and the kitchen. The bathroom and kitchen are new as of early 2004. The kitchen is cute and functional, and includes a large fridge, an electric stove, microwave, toaster, a washing machine and all of the basic kitchen necessities you will need.
The bedrooms are
quite spacious and there is ample storage space (wardrobes and closets).
One bedroom has a double bed along with a dresser, nightstand and large armchair.
The second bedroom includes two single beds, nightstand, and a large armoire to store clothing. There are also walk in closets to store clothing and luggage.
The living room includes a sleeper sofa bed that can sleep two persons. All beds, including
the sofa bed, are of good quality. There is an additional single
good quality fold out bed located in the apartment for a 7th person or in place of using the sofabed. We will make
up the beds according to your request/the number in
your party.
The
main living area includes the sofa, large area rug, an armchair, coffee table, dining table and chairs as well as a TV and DVD player (TV received basic cable, including CNN and BBC channels). The apartment is also equipped with a PC and high speed internet access, available to all guests.
